Opening Ceremony
The official opening of Relay For Life Rossendale 2026. Join the survivor parade, welcoming speeches, and take the first lap together as a community.
Candle of Hope Ceremony 2026
The centrepiece of Relay For Life Rossendale. As dusk falls at Marl Pits, we gather to light candles for loved ones, celebrate survivors, and honour those who continue to fight. A deeply moving experience featuring live music, shared memories, and hundreds of flickering flames.
Virtual Candlelight Vigil
Our first online ceremony, open to anyone around the world. We streamed live readings, musical performances, and a collective candle-lighting moment. The virtual format allowed families far away to participate together.
Spring Remembrance Ceremony
A quiet, reflective ceremony held in the spring sunshine. We gathered to share stories, light candles, and support one another. Over 150 community members attended and 200 candles were lit in memory of loved ones.
